“Sometimes young people tell me from far away, ‘Oh-wol, cheer up. I am on your side,’ or older people say, ‘Oh-wol, are you still alive? Thank you, we love you.’ Once a Korean rice cake owner sneaked me some unpackaged rice cake. Haha. Sometimes I can immerse myself into the character or have a hard time, but those words from fans became a life saver. I was moved to realize that the Oh-wol character received a lot of love.”

When asked about her real personality, Song Ha-yoon said,

“When I was younger, I had no filter, but I don’t say much now. You are attacked if you say too much or if you don’t say enough. It is difficult to find the middle ground. Recently, I prefer not to say too much. After becoming an adult, I think it all depends on how you think.”

“It is not well-known, but I have acted continuously for 13 years, that is how Oh-wol could come into the picture. I like all my previous projects, including My daughter Gum Sa-wol. All the projects are precious to me. And because of My daughter Gum Sa-wol, I think I can be a different me in my next work. I am really looking forward to meeting a different me."
